Can you sell cars using the ethos of compost?

It's a car ad, but it's also a plug for the value of composting. Why do we work so hard?

Because hard work means you'll get an upscale house with a pool and an expensive car. At least, that's the answer if Cadillac's ad for its ELR luxury coupe was to be believed.

But Ford has different ideas. In a unique parody of that polarizing Cadillac ad, the main character suggests that a better reason for working hard is to make the world better. It's a car ad, but it's also a plug for the value of composting.

“Me? I collect food scraps from restaurants, manure from zoos. Manure,” says the composter narrator from Detroit Dirt. “Do you know why? To keep this stuff out of landfills and use it to make good, rich dirt. That's why.”
