Let the juices flow and submit your vermicompost brand idea! How creative are you? Highfields' is looking for a new name for our worm compost (vermicompost) that is fun, self-evident, and marketable! We're pleased to be able to donate one yard of compost to local schools and non-profits for every bag of vermicompost that is sold. A one for one donation! So keep that in mind when brainstorming.

All ideas are welcome, and the winner (chosen by Highfields staff) will win a “Compost Crew” t-shirt, a bag of our premium vermicompost, and, of course, eternal glory.

Here are a few tips …

Dos

  • Do get creative. Worm puns, dirt jokes, rotten humor, etc. are all welcome!
  • Do keep in mind the market. Most of our buyers will find our worm compost online and use it for their houseplants and home gardens.
  • Do mind the mission. Highfields is a not-for-profit dedicated to closing the loop on sustainable agriculture.

Don'ts

  • Don't infringe copyrights. Check to see if your name is already used before submitting (example: “Worm Power”)
  • Don't worry about design. We're really just looking for names (and maybe taglines)…not graphic designs.
